Chong Gao

Chong Gao is Director of Research and Development at Mercury Insurance and is responsible for personal auto ratings plan research and development for all of the Mercury 11 states. She serves as a spokesperson for Mercury’s annual Most Affordable to Insure lists.

Prior to joining Mercury, Gao worked as an actuarial consultant for the insurance operations and consulting firm Perr&Knight Inc. Gao also worked for Farmers Insurance with roles in product management as well as research and development.

Gao holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Economics and a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics from UCLA.
