Mercury Insurance To Sponsor UCLA Basketball
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec. 7, 2011) – With football season coming to a close, Mercury Insurance has shifted to part two of its inaugural UCLA sports sponsorship: Bruins Basketball.
UCLA basketball fans can get a pair of free tickets to a 2011/2012 UCLA men’s home game* by filling out an online Mercury auto insurance quote at www.mercuryinsurance.com/bruins. Once the quote is completed, fans will be sent a voucher redeemable for two tickets to an upcoming UCLA home game at the Los Angeles Sports Arena or Honda Center in Anaheim.
“UCLA basketball is arguably the most successful college basketball program in history,” said Erik Thompson, Mercury Insurance advertising director. “This success has led to amazing support from millions of loyal fans and alumni, and it is one of the primary reasons why UCLA basketball is such a good fit for us. It gives everyone an opportunity to see how competitive Mercury’s rates are and they get two free tickets to an upcoming game, too…everyone wins!
Mercury will continue to use social media channels Facebook and Twitter to alert fans to the promotion, which ends February 22, 2012.
Mercury – one of the largest private-passenger auto insurance companies in California – is also a sponsor of the LA Kings and LA Dodgers, as well as the title sponsor of the Mercury Insurance Open, the Women’s Tennis Association tour stop in Carlsbad, California.
*Excluding Jan. 5 vs. Arizona and Feb. 15 vs. USC. Other restrictions apply. See official rules at www.mercuryinsurance.com/bruins.
