Palm Desert Resident Awarded Three-Year Lease of New Hyundai Veloster

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Feb. 20, 2013) – Mercury Insurance presented Christopher Thomas, a 66-year-old Palm Desert resident, with a three-year lease today on a 2013 Hyundai Veloster.  Mercury Advertising Manager Michael Bregder was at Allen Hyundai in Laguna Niguel to present the keys to Thomas, who was selected as the winner of Mercury’s Hyundai Veloster Lease Sweepstakes.

“This is by far the coolest prize I’ve ever won,” said Thomas. “The Veloster is a beautiful car and I’m very thankful Mercury drew my name.  Now, it’s time for a road trip.”

Mercury’s three-month promotion allowed California residents 18 years and older to complete an online auto insurance quote at mercuryinsurance.com and automatically be entered to win the car.  The sweepstakes was promoted in conjunction with Fox Sports West on the network’s Prep Zone website and programming. The Prep Zone is dedicated to covering Southern California high school sports.
